    This  is the first of hopefully many blog posts chronicling my journey building the Amway business. My wife and I have decided to start an Amway business simply because we need the extra money and it is easy to start. I do not have $100,000's of dollars or the time required to start a traditional type business. that is why the Amway business is prefect for Us. An additional purpose of our blog is to come against the false accusation that this business is not legit and to show that you can indeed make money building the Amway business.

Allow me to start by giving you my bio. My name is Chad Johnson. I live in Louisville, Kentucky. I am married and have two children. I am a veteran. I have a college education. I am a Bible believing Fundamental Christian. I was a Realtor for 14 years and I currently work In the IT industry. My immediate family have owned and own business of their own and I have a lot of experience first hand at what goes into owning your own business. It is difficult to support a family and grow a business if the business does not make money. In Real Estate, if you did not have deals pending to close you were out of business.

The Amway Business Opportunity allows a person who wants to make more money or to build a business, start a business without going into debt. Amway has a large portfolio of products with several different functions. You can focus on Health and Nutrition, or Skin care and Beauty Products, or you can Market their Home care products that are environmentally friendly. This allows a person, like me to plug into a product line that has been tested and proven successful. I don't have to think up something new and then convince people to buy my new product that has no market presence or credibility. This business also allows you to build something from the ground up and you do not have to rely on it to be your only source of income. It is designed for the individual or family that is already busy and cannot afford to quit their job to be in Business for themselves.  This is truly the most vibrant equal opportunity business available today. It is available to everyone; male, or female, young, and old. Anyone with the desire and drive can build this business. That is a proven fact. Just look at the success stories over the years from all over the World.

Like I mentioned at the beginning this is just the first of many articles and or posts that will chronicle our journey building the Amway business. Future posts will focus on products, income potential and the evidence for that. I Also will be using this as a forum to squash the mis-informed Amway haters.
